Overview

Gal Kelner is an associate and member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Gal advises and provides representation to international and domestic corporations, financial institutions as well as high net worth individuals on a broad range of civil, corporate and contractual matters, with a particular focus on high-value and complex commercial disputes, cross-border litigation and in defending both shareholder derivative actions and class actions.

Gal joined S. Horowitz & Co. in 2018, where he completed his internship and qualified as an Israeli practitioner.

  • Gal served as a research assistant to Prof. Amnon Rubinstein, Dr. Hillel Sommer and Dr. Galia Schneebaum, all at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) (2016-2019)
  • Gal served as a legal assistant to Supreme Court Justice (Retired), Ayala Prokachia. In this role, Gal headed a committee that was tasked with drafting the rules of ethics for conducting arbitration for the Israeli Institute of Commercial Arbitration (2016-2018)
  • As a student, Gal served as a legal assistant to Shelly Yehimovitch, a former member of the Israeli Parliament (the Knesset), as part of the services provided by the Interdisciplinary Center legal clinics (2016)
