Adv. Ruth Budovich-Sagir is a partner in the Labor Law Department, with extensive experience in managing and leading complex litigation cases, collective disputes, and providing strategic counsel to companies and senior executives.
Ruth provides comprehensive legal solutions in individual and collective employment matters, with particular expertise in leading collective bargaining negotiations and labor dispute resolution proceedings. She also has extensive experience representing clients before all courts.
Her strategic approach to labor disputes and her ability to navigate the complexities of labor relations are highly valued by her clients, whom she has been advising over the years. Her legal practice encompasses the full spectrum of labor law- from ongoing counsel to litigation in substantial and precedent-setting cases with broad implications, including class actions, as well as advising on initial worker organization, collective bargaining, and labor disputes. Ruth brings rich experience and a unique perspective to managing legal proceedings and resolving labor disputes through mediation.
Drawing on her unique background as the former Head of the Labor Law Division at the Prime Minister’s Office, Ruth has developed significant expertise in public sector labor relations, including managing negotiations with government ministries such as the Ministry of Finance, and representing senior officials in disciplinary proceedings and complex claims involving the Civil Service Commission and other state authorities.
Additionally, Ruth specializes in advising employers on the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace, investigating complaints of sexual harassment and abusive conduct in the workplace, serving as an external investigator for various entities, and lecturing on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Law. She also lectures on various labor law topics in professional and academic forums.
