The department’s team participates in precedent-setting cases, including class actions, administrative petitions, criminal and administrative enforcement proceedings, which include hearings before government ministries, representation in legal courts, including appeal proceedings.
The department serves a diverse client base, including domestic and international corporations, government entities, and organizations from various sectors of the economy, such as the energy sector, infrastructure and construction, technology, pharmaceuticals, heavy industry, and more. The legal services provided by our office’s Environmental Department cover numerous environmental aspects, including energy production, hazardous materials and waste management, radiation safety, air quality and emissions regulation, marine and coastal pollution, soil remediation, and more. Additionally, the department’s team provides ongoing legal counsel and training for employees and managers on legal exposure and environmental liability issues, including within the framework of ESG (Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance) policy and corporate responsibility.
In addition, the department is actively involved in advising and accompanying the legislative processes on Israeli environmental laws and acts on behalf of its clients before the various regulatory authorities on matters related to their ongoing operations.
