Michal is an associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group of the firm. She represents, before the entire range of Israeli courts and tribunals, international and domestic companies, government companies, financial institutions and high net worth individuals on a broad range of civil and contractual matters, with a particular focus on complex contractual disputes.
Michal also has experience in representation international and domestic companies, executives and individuals on facing criminal or administrative investigations or allegations of any of the many white-collar crimes.
Michal also advises on internal corporate investigations, on drafting and supporting the implementation of the firm’s client’s internal policies and self-enforcement practices, on claims relating to bribery and corruption, money laundering claims, claims of breach of fiduciary duty, non-compliance with corporate governance and all other forms of alleged misconduct for which companies or their officers can be held civilly or criminally liable.
Michal’s practice also includes advising and representing companies and their executives on environmental and regulatory issues, including liability for the contamination of land, air, water and sea and other violations of environmental and health and safety regulations.
As part of her general counseling practice, Michal also provides legal opinions to foreign counsel and domestic and foreign entities on how criminal, commercial, civil and environmental law is applied in Israel, she advises and accompanies commercial transactions, involving environmental and regulatory aspects, and she advises and accompanies legislative and regulatory processes that have potential implications on the criminal and administrative exposure of the firm’s clients.
Michal joined S. Horowitz & Co. in 2017, where she completed her internship and qualified as an Israeli advocate.
