Adv. Yaniv Azran is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Department and the Banking and Finance Department at S. Horowitz. Yaniv specializes in complex commercial litigation, corporate disputes, banking law, and insolvency and corporate rehabilitation proceedings.
Yaniv’s experience includes the management of numerous diverse and complex disputes, intricate arrangements carrying significant economic implications, and particular expertise in insolvency proceedings – both as an office -holder and in the provision of ongoing advice, including the representation of office-holders -across all aspects of insolvency proceedings, including liquidation, receivership, bankruptcy, debt arrangements, stays of proceedings, and more.
In addition, Yaniv has many years of legal experience and particular expertise in the law of bank guarantees and documentary letters of credit, together with extensive knowledge of banking contracts, collateral and liens, financing, and related matters.
Yaniv represents most of Israel’s banking corporations and their subsidiaries, as well as financial institutions and a range of commercial entities, across all areas of substantive law, including corporate law, contract law, property and security law, banking law, and securities law.
Throughout his career, Yaniv has led significant matters in corporate rehabilitation and liquidation and in shareholder disputes, and has advised on legislative processes and taken an active part in the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee (Amendment No. 4 and Amendment No. 9 to the Insolvency Law).
