Avigail Volinsky is a partner and member of the firm’s Private Clients and Wealth Management Department and also its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
Avigail oversees the firm’s wills and estate planning practice and specializes in advising and representing high-net-worth private clients, individuals and non-profit organizations in matters pertaining to wills and inheritance, estate planning and trusts (including public endowment funds) and in guiding private clients throughout the process of intergenerational wealth transfer planning, so as to ensure family wealth is preserved and future disputes are averted.
Avigail has vast experience representing clients in complex matters involving non-residents who, following their death, were found to have [left][bequeathed] assets in Israel. In addition, Avigail acts for leading commercial companies in Israel on a broad array of civil and contractual matters, with a focus on infrastructure disputes.
Avigail joined S. Horowitz in 2014. During her legal studies, Avigail was a member of the editorial board of “Hearat Din”, the University of Haifa’s online law journal.
Avigail serves as Co-Chair of the Israel Bar Association’s Wills, Inheritance and Estates Committee and, in this capacity, advises and represents the Bar in discussions before [the relevant] Parliamentary (Knesset) committees regarding amendments to applicable Israeli law.
