Atalya Shitrit is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at S. Horowitz.
Atalya represents international and local companies and high-net-worth individuals in a wide range of administrative, civil and contractual matters, with particular focus on challenging and reviewing decisions of authorities and public bodies in administrative courts, disputes relating to infrastructure and construction projects, complex contractual disputes and tender disputes.
Atalya also provides ongoing legal advice and guidance during the establishment of infrastructure and construction projects. Additionally, she assists companies during the tender stage, including during the submission of tender proposals. During her studies, Atalya served as a research assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Shahar Lifshitz, and to Prof. Oren Perez, was a mentor to first-year law students at Bar-Ilan University, and was a member of the Bar-Ilan University Law Review editorial board, “Democratic Culture.” She also provided legal counsel to women through her participation in the Rackman Center for the Advancement of Women’s Status, operating within the Bar-Ilan Faculty of Law. Atalya joined S. Horowitz & Co. in 2015.
