Adv. Lior Weiss is an associate in the Real Estate Department at S. Horowitz.
Lior provides legal counsel on real estate transactions and ongoing advice to private clients, companies, entrepreneurs, and contractors across a wide range of real estate deals. She specializes in sale and purchase transactions, contractor transactions, real estate taxation, rights registration, and managing the legal aspects of real estate transactions, from preliminary due diligence and negotiation through to deal completion and rights registration.
Lior has experience advising clients on the tax aspects of real estate transactions, including real estate tax filings, handling objections and appeals, and advising on and managing interactions with the Tax Authority. She also manages complex registration proceedings at the Land Registry, the Israel Land Authority, and mortgage companies, including registration of shared houses, transfer of rights, mortgage registration, and registration corrections.
Prior to joining the firm, Lior completed her legal internship in real estate, during which she worked on real estate transactions, drafted agreements, handled dealings with authorities, and engaged in legal writing. Previously, she served as a pre-intern in the Office of the Supervisor of Land Registration, assisting the Supervisor of Shared Houses in drafting decisions and rulings, and gained additional experience in legal research and writing in the fields of real estate, planning and construction, and administrative law.
