Today, our firm hosted a conference on innovations in Privacy, Cyber and E-Commerce in association with the Association of Corporate Counsel Israel (ACC Israel).

The conference featured lectures by Adv. Tomer Scheuerman, head of our cyber and privacy practice group, on applications and updates on online consumerism, and by Adv. Ronen Brumer  on unfair competition in the digital sphere and the legal tools to fight it. In addition, a panel on hedging exposures in the cyber world was hosted by Adv. Amit Steinman, with Adv. Guy Firer, Tomer Scheuerman and Mr. Shay Simkin – Global Head of Cyber at Howden. We also had the privilege of hosting Michael Dreeben, a former deputy of the U.S. Attorney General, who appeared in more than 100 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. Adv. Dreeben presented trends and developments in US privacy laws, with an emphasis on companies reaching out to the American market.
