We were delighted to take part in the annual conference of The IDU Israel Directors Union and Israeli Association of Publicly Traded Companies, discussing the question: “The independence of the Board of Directors, Reality or a Dream?” Amir Assali, partner at our Capital Markets department, spoke on the importance of maintaining a culture of legal compliance in light of the changes in enforcement actions and the sanctions threshold when it comes to the use of inside information. Amir also shared his recommendations to the board of directors members in light of the dramatic increase in ESG investments.
