His expertise includes leading complex IP litigation aimed at protecting clients’ valuable IP rights including know-how and trade secrets, with particular strength in cross-border/multi-jurisdictional litigation and cooperation with leading practitioners in the US, the UK, the EU and elsewhere.

Throughout his lucrative and distinguished career, Tal has built an impressive client portfolio that includes industry leaders in the pharmaceuticals, life sciences, defence and security, telecommunications, media, manufacturing and retail sectors. His work with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., Israel’s largest IP litigant and a global pharmaceutical giant, encompasses comprehensive patent litigation, regulatory work and strategic IP counsel. Notable representations in this context include handling numerous patent litigations, involving blockbuster drugs that generate over USD 1 billion in annual sales. Tal also acts for key clients such as Google, Waze Mobile Ltd., ISCAR and LEGO, in addition to advising premier Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) and reputable academic institutions on IP-related issues specific to their operations or activities.

Moreover, Tal’s commitment to fostering and advancing IP law extends beyond his day-to-day practice. For example:

• Tal chairs the IP Committee of the Israel Bar Association
• Tal served as President of the Israel Chapter of AIPPI (2004-2016) and also played an active role in AIPPI’s international leadership program by chairing its statutory Membership Committee
• Tal is the holder of the AIPPI Award of Merit in recognition of his extensive service to the organization
• Tal is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law and has been instrumental in establishing the S. Horowitz Institute for Intellectual Property.
