With over 30 years of experience, Avi has successfully appeared before all levels of Israeli courts and tribunals, representing clients in many precedent-setting and high-profile cases. He has developed a stellar reputation in major multi-jurisdictional disputes, serving as lead counsel in parallel proceedings across different jurisdictions. His expertise extends to arbitration and mediation proceedings (including before JAMS, WIPO, and ICC), where he has gained recognition as both counsel and mediator. Additionally, Avi has provided expert opinions on Israeli law in foreign court proceedings.

 

Serving as co-head of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, Avi is regarded as “a unique master in IP law” (The Legal 500). He provides strategic legal counsel and representation to international and domestic rights holders, in variety of technologies, in all aspects of intellectual property ownership, protection, prosecution and commercialization. His expertise spans patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights and designs. His practice encompasses all types of damage, from bodily injury to property damage, and includes significant experience in product recall cases.
