Head of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, senior partner Tal Band was delighted to finally gather in person and participate in a unique gathering at the S. Horowitz & Co. Institute for Intellectual Property, on the interface between the worlds of medicine and IP.
Following the welcome address by Prof. Hannes, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Amir Khoury, the Head of the Institute, Tal mentioned our firm’s centennial and emphasized its strong interest and involvement in IP, throughout the years.
Furthermore, Tal shared with the audience some insights on the delicate and challenging balance between innovation and access to health, and the need to re-examine the role of traditional IP law and practice in this context.
