As cyberattacks on Israeli organizations continue since the war broke out, Pini Azaria, Co-Head of the Privacy and Cyber practice at S. Horowitz, warns that the greatest danger is not always inside the organization itself, but in its supply chain: cloud, software, and service providers through which data can leak even when internal defenses are solid. At the same time, there is good news for clients: the European Commission has renewed its adequacy decision recognizing Israel as providing adequate data protection, easing business and research ties with European counterparts. Azaria explains what both developments mean in practice and how organizations should prepare.
