Noam Blei has extensive experience in advising and representing major multinational and domestic companies from a variety of sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical technology, aerospace, industrial and telecommunications companies, as well as other technology based companies, start-ups, universities and their technology transfer companies, on a wide range of contentious intellectual property matters, with a particular emphasis on patent and design disputes.
Noam’s practice includes advising on matters relating to the enforcement, validity, ownership and inventorship of patents and the provision of freedom to operate opinions. Noam’s regularly represents clients on patent opposition and revocation proceedings before the Israel Patent Office and patent enforcement proceedings before the courts.
Noam also specialises in advising and representing clients in disputes relating to service inventions, including before the Compensation and Royalty Committee of the Israel Patent Office, and the High Court of Justice. Notably, Noam was involved in several precedent setting cases in this area of law, in which he successfully represented clients against claims filed by employees and former employees who sought compensation for service inventions.
Noam also advises and represents clients on various matters relating to other intellectual property rights, including trademarks, designs and trade secrets, spanning from protection and enforcement to oppositions and revocations.
