We were delighted to participate in an online conference on the subject “Embezzlement and Fraud – the Challenges during the COVID-19 Pandemic”, that took place as part of the annual meeting of the External Directors Club of the IDU Israel Directors Union.
The conference was held in collaboration with our firm, the Association of Publicly Traded Companies, BDO Israel and the academic department of Corporate Governance at Bar-Ilan University.
During the conference, our partner, Pnina Sheffer Emmanuel, spoke about reducing the legal exposure of corporations and office holders following the discovery of embezzlement and fraud, the transition from an approach of managing crises to preventing them and of the unique challenges being faced in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
