Additionally, Omer specializes in providing counsel to international and domestic corporations on complex, significant, and sensitive matters in the field of antitrust and competition law.
Prior to joining S. Horowitz, Omer led complex regulatory impact assessment (RIA) processes and complex regulatory improvement processes with direct and comprehensive impact on Israeli citizens, as part of his work in the Regulatory Policy Division at the Ministry of Justice. Omer served as an editorial board member of “Mishpatim”, Israel’s leading legal journal, as a teaching assistant to Dr. Ofer Malcai in the Evidence Law course at the Hebrew University, as a teaching assistant to Dr. Ofer Tur-Sinai in the Intellectual Property Law course at the Hebrew University, and as a teaching assistant to Prof. Katya Zakharov-Assaf in the Intellectual Property Law course, Trademark Law course, and Intellectual Property Law for Managers course at the Hebrew University. Additionally, Omer provided significant legal counsel to single mothers through the Clinic for Representing Peripheral Populations and provided significant legal counsel to the Jerusalem Municipality through the “Omek” Center – the Institute for Policy and Legislative Design. Omer joined S. Horowitz & Co. in 2023.
