Ofir Pozner, partner in the firm’s Employment Practice Group, gave a lecture on the subject “Privacy in the Workplace” at the annual Employment Law Conference of HRus for 2021 that took place at Kfar Maccabiah Hotel.

In his lecture, Ofir reviewed various issues concerning the right of an employee to privacy in the workplace as opposed to the entitlement of the employer to information deemed necessary to manage the business. Among other things, Ofir delved into issues concerning the possibility of employers requesting that their employees be vaccinated or examined as part of dealing with the coronavirus pandemic as well as those concerning the appropriate manner for using surveillance cameras in the workplace, tracking and monitoring employees’ e-mail boxes, polygraph testing, etc.

The audience didn’t wait long to ask questions concerning Covid-19 testing and vaccinations for employees and a vibrant discussion took place.

Ofir Pozner: “It was a pleasure to participate and discuss current issues with such an engaged audience”.
