Omer Machluf is an associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group of the firm. Omer’s litigation practice focuses on a broad range of commercial and administrative matters, with a particular focus on complex contractual disputes, real estate disputes and energy and property disputes, as well as corporate litigation and arbitration.

Omer joined S. Horowitz & Co. in 2018, where he completed his internship and qualified as an Israeli advocate.

Other Activities

During his studies, Omer served as a Senior member of the editorial board of the academic journal “Democratic Culture”, a joint publication of The Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) and Bar-Ilan University’s faculty of law, which serves as a forum for studies on democratic culture in general and Israeli democracy in particular, focusing on studies in law, the humanities, social sciences and Jewish studies.

Omer also served as a judicial intern with Hon. Justice Martin Shulman, who serves as presiding Justice of the New York Supreme Court 1st Judicial District, Civil Branch and Appellate Term.

Omer also served as Associate Researcher in the Association of Environmental Justice in Israel (AEJI), andconducted the research in Israel in the frame of global research on legal limits on single use of plastics by the UN Environment and the World Resources Institute (WRI).

Omer was cited on the Dean’s List for excellent academic achievements for the academic year of 2017.
