Ido Porat is an associate in the Competition Law and Antitrust and in the Dispute Resolution practice groups of the firm.

He counsels international and domestic companies on the contentious and non-contentious aspects of Israeli competition law, including allegations of abusive behavior, restrictive arrangements and the filing of merger filings.

Ido also represents international and domestic companies on a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on defending class actions and disputes relating to the Israeli Competition Law, including antitrust follow-on damages class actions.

Ido joined S. Horowitz & Co. in 2018, where he completed his internship and qualified as an Israeli advocate

Other Activities

  • Ido was a vice editor-in-chief, of the Haifa Law Review (‘Mishpat Umimshal’) 2017- 2018.
  • A member of the Weblaw Law Review – ‘Haharat Din’.
  • During his legal studies at Haifa University, Ido served as a research and teaching assistant.
  • Ido was also a chief coordinator for the “Turkel Book”, a book which was written to honor Jacob Turkel, a former Superme Court Justice. The book was edited by Aharon Barak, Elyakim Rubinstein and Karin Carmit Yefet.
